The Devereaux's Team

Alexandra Hackett-
Manager

Alexandra Hackett's love for restaurants and the hospitality profession stems from her Spanish heritage, where time with friends is centered around food and wine.  She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.  Her family moved to Charleston, SC when she was seven and her passion for restaurants began at the age of sixteen.

After graduating from the College of Charleston, Alexandra joined the team at High Cotton, part of Maverick Southern Kitchen, Charleston, which also operates Slightly North of Broad, Old Village Post House, High Hammock, and the popular Charleston kitchen store, Charleston Cooks.  At High Cotton, she worked all positions on the service side, creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

In 2007, Alexandra moved to Greenville, SC to be part of the team that opened High Cotton Greenville—Maverick's first restaurant outside the coastal area.  That team included her husband-to-be, Chef Jason Hackett.  Alexandra and Jason married in August 2009.

During her time off, Alexandra enjoys spending time with Jason, their families, and friends, as well as relaxing with their two dogs, Luna and Savannah.  "I'm very excited about working with the Devereaux's team, especially Chef Spencer Thomson." Alexandra noted, "Jason and I are also taking time enjoying the many great restaurants and wonderful activities Greenville offers.  I’m thrilled to be part of Table 301."
